After my returning from Canada I was really busy with shooting. Most of the time we spent at the Arlberg & Montafon area. We filmed some pretty cool street spots and when heaven gave us some snow again, we always found some pow. The conditions were perfect- we could shape the spot with slushy snow wearing a t-shirt but when we were landing there was still powder.

On the 24.2 I flew with the True Color Films crew (Nicholas, Rene and filmer Martin) to Canada- Monashee Catboarding lodge. It’s an awesome place- super good food, sick terrain, lots of snow and the fact that we used no lifts was also very nice! (:
It took me a long time to get up there: 5 hours by car/schoolbus, 14 1/2 hours by airplane, 1 hour by snowcat and 17 hours waiting. But it was definitely worth- check out the pictures below.

Today I took some laps at my homeresort Silvretta Montafon and tomorrow shooting is on again- keep you updated

On the third day we went to that zone called “burned forest”. There was a woodfire 2003-however, they just didn’t care about the fire and let the trees burn down ’cause they have enough of them.

The last few days our crew (Elias Elhardt, Pirmin Juffinger and Simon Holzknecht) destroyed the pow in the Arlberg area. Super good conditions right now and the crew is just awesome- really looking forward to the next days. Keep you posted, talk soon

Hellooo ladies and gentleman,

it happend a lot the last few weeks! Unfortunately I had some problems with the log in, that’s why my blog was not up to date- now everything works again. I don’t wanna bore u with endless sentences, better check out the pics below and the lame words under it (:

The big air in Stuttgart was one of the highlights. Super smooth and cool kicker. The only sketchy thing was the inrun, no snow just dryslopes.

Ridersmeeting, 2 hours before the contest started. Indescribable atmosphere- no one knew if the kicker works or not?! Should we make just a rail battle? Will the rain and wind be better in a few hours?! Luckely everthing went perfect! Big respect to the organizers -thanks a lot.

Not just Riders and Organizers were on fire. (:

The inrun

Two weeks ago I had a uncomfortable date with a tree. A part of my kneecap was broken plus a little abrasion (Schürfwunde). Now everything is fine again- healed really fast.

3 days later the little abrasion grew -.-

On tuesday I had a little shooting on the Kitzsteinhorn. We filmed a clip for the upcoming photo contest “Best Shots”. Peter König and I explaind how everything works at this contest. Unfortunately I couldn’t ride that much because my knee still hurt. Anyway, it was a funny shooting.

Today me and my buddys Sebi, Schöch went up to the Arlberg, for the first shooting this year. There was actually no snow, just a few spots from the snow cannons. I really love it to “work” with this crew, just filmer pirmin was missing.
We did two spots, they were not big at all but cool for photos!

From The Waiting List To The Finals

Wednesday morning I got my ass up to the Stubaier glacier. Park was fresh shaped and the weather was perfect- as you can imagine, it was awesome!
After shredding I drove to Schladming for the Pleasurejam. Amazing what those shapers build out of that less snow! Good job, guys! The level of the contest was insane, double 1080 and 1260 and other crazy tricks all day long. Riders like Markus Keller, Torstein Horgmo, Marko Grilc, Marc Swoboda and about 130 Riders more were on course- finally Seppe Smits won. I went my way from the waiting list to the finals, at the end I got 9th. Stoked on that!
