Quiet a while ago I went to the Volcom/Nitroteamshooting at Trysil.
I remeber that I was so scared to go there because I almost never jumped park kickers wich have a bigger table than 7 meters (like novapark kickers (: ) . And as you might know Trysil is fmaous for BIG Jumps. But after jumping the beast a few times it was working well.
When I look back now it was a lot of fun and good times. Thx to my team managers Jan and Andi for inviting me!
Guess what pirmin cooked on sec. 25. It´s the beast behind the couch… (:
Today I had a good day with my friends Marco “Fichtl” Feichtner and Pirmin Juffinger. There is nothing better than to shred around with your friends and having good times!! The only thing that makes me a little bit scared is that the glaciers are melting away so rapid. So once again: TAKE CARE FOR YOUR ENVIRONMENT! There should come a small tricktip in the next days- so stay tuned girls and boys out there.
Yesterday we arrived after a 5 hours drive from Asaidaki to Niseko. Last weekend there was the Toyota Big Air in Sapporo, really impressive! My Swiss tripmates did well and finally Gian-Luca got 7th and Markus 12th!
The hope of better snow in Niseko was gone pretty soon. We decided to shoot the first spring kicker this season…I had to go for the first track- went to short and punched my knee in to the face, so I was out for this session. Gian-Luca had the same bad luck as me. He made a double inverted bs 10 insteat of a bs7 and hurt his back- also out. Markus did some super nice tricks and I tried my luck as a photographer.
Here some impressions of our one week shoothing in my home valley`s Silvretta Montafon and Arlberg.
We saved most of the hammers for the upcoming Nitro promomovie.
Thx Magnus for the edit!
Yesterday was our first day shredding on the mountain- it was so funny! After the third run we saw a good looking pillow. The only bad thing was that the spot was five meters behind the rope were the so called “danger zone” is. Lorenz and Pirmin went behind the rope to get ready, suddenly a women screamed from the chairlift that she will call the skipatrol. Three minutes later the skipatrol was here and took our seven day tickets! Thx biaaatch! At least we sticked our tricks… (:
Today we met our guide Nobu. At first we had a tough hike- about 2 hours. At the top of the peak we quickly figured that it was`nt a that good idea. BIIIZZARRRDD- so it was snowing and blowing like hell. This day sucks cocks in hell!
We finally arrived in the snowy village Niseko. Was not too easy to get there because photodawg Lorenz Richard aka “Mr. Cheeesiest Smile Around The Globe” had some problems with the check in. For the japanese securitys Lorenz his flash looks like a bomb, so he was not allowed to take it with the plane. But he managed it somehow that they send it tomorow with the post.
I was sooo impressed when I got out of the plane. There was like 3 meters snow in the valley- never saw so much snow! Tomorrow we will check out the mountain, I´m excited how much snow is up there!
